Willie Clark is an award-winning broadcaster, entrepreneur and community servant with 30+ years of experience in the radio and television industry.

His professional career began in 1977 as an on air personality at WOKB radio in Orlando, Fl. He later worked as the morning announcer and music director at WORL radio in Orlando from 1979 until 1983. From 1983-1984, he had a brief stint as host of the evening show of Orlando’s pop music giant, Y106. He later returned to WOKB as Program Director and morning show host from 1984 to 1987. In 1987, WOKB became WXXO and Mr. Clark was promoted to General Sales Manager/Station Manager. He held both positions until 1989.

Mr. Clark founded Agape Communications, a radio and TV time brokerage company in 1989. He changed the name of the company to the Clark Media Network in 2006. The company originally produced his award winning talk/music show called “The Gospel Explosion Community Forum”. At that time he was also a regular guest panelist on WMFE TV’s highly acclaimed Opinion St. program and host of the annual United Negro College Fund Telethon. Throughout the years his company has produced many radio and TV projects including his current program “The Willie Clark Show”.

Mr. Clark’s grasp of community issues and commitment to progress created an opportunity for him to work as a political consultant. His clients are among Florida’s Who’s Who in politics including, U. S. Sen. Mel Martinez, U.S. Con. Corrine Brown, former Florida Sec. Of State Glenda Hood and Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.

In 2004, Mr. Clark created The Willie Clark Foundation and launched The Tech Outreach project, an effort to bridge the “digital divide” in central Florida’s low-income communities. Through corporate and private donations the foundation has contributed 2500 computers to local residents, churches, daycare centers and other non-profit organizations.

Mr. Clark has demonstrated a commitment to human growth and development. He serves on the City of Orlando Minority Certification Board, the Orange County Citizens’ Commission for Children Ivey Lane Advisory Board and the board of the First Harvest Food Bank.

Though he has received much acclaim for his contributions, his primary objective is to serve the people and to inspire others to do the same.
